Decor & More is a Sri Lankan home decor and furnishings store that needed a modern online shop and a back office that staff could run without extra tools. The site covers browsing, checkout, and delivery, while the admin side handles products, stock, orders, and customer messages. It is a full-stack storefront and content management system. Customers shop on a React site. Staff manage the catalog and orders through role-based admin, super admin, and developer dashboards. The API is Node.js and Express, with PostgreSQL for data, AWS S3 for product images and payment receipts, and email plus phone verification for customer contact.

Our solution
We built a storefront and a layered API so product, order, and user logic stay consistent. Orders move through a controlled path: pending, payment under review, confirmed, processing, dispatched, and completed, with cancellation that returns stock. Admins review uploaded receipts, restock from a dedicated screen, and get live in-app alerts. Product and category links are shareable. Phone verification can be turned on or off from store settings.
Results
The client can run catalog, inventory, orders, and customer messages from one system. Payment is checked from uploaded receipts instead of an automated gateway. Staff see new orders and low stock as they happen. Customers can track orders, save addresses, and open a direct link to a product or category.
